Raina crouched upon a ten foot tall shoulder upon the hill, the forest around her effectively hiding her troops from Lord Herias's Knights. Counting about twenty-five horsemen and around one hundred foot soldiers. A unfair fight. On their end. Smirking as the light of the rising sun danced off of her face, "These knights had been hounding us for far too long, Let's send them scrambling back to their precious Child-King" she thought, gritting her teeth.
Directing her horsemen away, sending them to the road nearby, ahead of the knights. Then pointed to half her foot soldiers and instructed them to come from behind. Lastly, her and the last half of her foot soldiers would head in. Straight down the middle. When everyone was in position, Pulse racing, blood boiling under her skin. Raina gave a loud, boisterous wolf howl. Signaling to attack.
Running for the middle of the group as she had planned, jumping over fallen branches from trees along her way, dodging arrows, and pitfalls. Her horsemen arrived first, stave's ready, bodies painted red, whooping and howling. Raina and her party came in next, dashing from the cover of the forest and taking the knights by surprise. One knight was quickly pulled from his horse as Raina threw herself onto the stead and the creature reared on it's hind legs in fright and was quickly done away with, slicing the reins, and saddles by it's leather straps; The horse then fled as she had planned. When she looked up, another knight, a fellow foot soldier, was now bearing down on her, his sword at the ready. Already blood stained from her fellow men.
Raising her daggers in a defensive posture arms crossed as to block any incoming blow with the but of the hilt, but noticed a smirk come to his face. Instinctively Raina ducked and reversed her small blades, feeling the wind from an enemy's sword pass over, Her breath slow as she released. She stepped back and thrust backward and felt the blades hit home, right in the stomach of a knight. Their decision to go without plate armor was their undoing.
All around her the battle raged, swords smashing into each other and ringing with their impacts, Blood dripping from each others weapons. Men and women dying, Others screaming in agony and some simply cursing their enemies. She felt the body of her assailant from behind grow slack, and start to lean against her leather and chain mail padded backside. Raina withdrew her daggers from his stomach and looked to the knight in front of her with a smirk of her own now that his was gone. His eyes burned with rage and he stepped forward, his arms moving the sword into a horizontal strike. Teeth bearing in a ferocious snarl.
She moved her body in preparation, pointing the tips of the daggers at the sky tightly together, a split second later she felt her arm vibrate with the impact as the blades met. The two combatants didn't stop and rebound off of each other, Both kept going, each fighting with anger, and fury behind their eyes. More so that of her. The smell of blood think in the air. Raina pumped her arms in accordance to his movements, easily keeping her enemy's weapon at bay as they danced through the battlefield, occasionally bumping into other combatants. The knight charged in a simple stabbing thrust and Raina danced to the side, letting the man's blade sink into one of his companions.
His face showed shock and confusion as he realized what had happened but, then Raina threw back her arms, as she lunged her leg upward, and shoved the knight to his back. Rearing her daggers back as she pounced upon him, Her daggers sliced into his chest, and dragged them down from his neck to his groin, severing his insides and gutting him like a fish. His entrails flopping onto the wet grass, the heat from his body wafting in the air.
Raina smiled and turned back to the battle raging around her. Letting lose another howl, eager to find another foe to vanquish.
"The only thing I dislike more than solider-dogs....are liars.."

"Shall we play a little game then.. I slice you open, and you squeal like a little piggy!?"

"Worthless sacks of MEAT!....is this what you send to BE RID OF US?.... CHILDREN.. who are better to be hiding under their mother's skirts!?"
